Egyptian carved wood Ka statue

A wooden figure of an Egyptian male shown striding forward wearing the shendyt kilt and carrying a staff, bearing the hieroglyphic symbol for ka on his head in the form of a pair of outstretched arms. This is a modern statue, possibly inspired by the ka statue of King Hor in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo (Middle Kingdom, 13th Dynasty, circa 1750 B.C.) The presence of the ka hieroglyph on the head is rarely found.
